Please use the following steps to resolve this issue. * STEP A * Uninstall & Remove All Microsoft .Net Framework components from the Add or Remove Programs * Note which versions of .NET are on your system before you uninstall them so you can reinstall the same versions later. Steps to perform this task are provided in Step F. 1. Go to "Start" 2. Select "Control Panel" 3. Select "Add or Remove Programs" 4. Remove "Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5" if found 5. Remove "Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0" if found 6. Remove "Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0" if found 7. Remove "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1" if found * STEP B * Download & Run Dotnetfx Cleanup Tool 1. Click http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/pages/8904493.aspx Please read Aaron Stebner's information on this tool, and follow his download link to the tool. One of the links he provides is http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/attachment/8904493.ashx 2. Once the dotnetfx_cleanup_tool zip file has been downloaded, open the dotnetfx_cleanup_tool zip file 6. Double click "cleanup_tool.exe" 7. Select "Yes" on pop-up 8. Select "Yes" on Agreement 9. Select "Cleanup Now" 10. Re-start windows when Finished * STEP C * Uninstall Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware 1. Go to the Windows "Start" Menu 2. Go to "All Programs" 3. Select the "Webroot" Folder 4. Select the software folder needed to be uninstall example "Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware" 5. Select the uninstall icon, example "Uninstall Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware" 6. Select "Allow or Continue" if prompted 7. Select "Yes" to start the un-installation 8. When finished select "Yes" to restart windows * STEP D * Download & install Microsoft .Net Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package 1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en 2. Download "dotnetfx.exe" 3. Select "Run" on popup window 4. Select "Yes" on popup window 5. Select "I agree" & "Install" 6. Select "OK" to finish * STEP E * Please download and install the latest Webroot Software using the link below: 1. Click http://sales.webroot.com/downloads/registered/links/SpySweeperRegSetup_1.exe 2. Select "Save" on pop-up 3. Select "Run" when completed 4. Verify Current KEY CODE: (KEY CODE) 5. Select "Agree & Install" 6. Select "Finish" to re-start Windows 7. Setup Wizard will begin 8. Select "I want to join..." then "Next >" for the WARN Program 9. Select "Next >" after Scheduling the Sweeps 10. Select "Finish" to complete * STEP F * If at this point all is working properly, please re-install any additional .NET framework packages you uninstalled in Step A.
